Hasta
la vista!
Not
long after JESUS had met
with His disciples on the beach
for breakfast, He joined them again
one day and told them, "It is time
for me to go back to my Father in
Heaven, but I will send you my Spirit;
then I will be with you all the time
wherever you are."
It was time for JESUS to say, "Hasta la vista," or "Bye for now."
JESUS
friends were sad to lose Him,
but they also wondered what it would
mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
JESUS said that HE would give them
power to TELL others about HIM and
to do amazing miracles! JESUS said that
they were to go INTO THE WHOLE
WORLD, teaching everyone about
HIM and that many would BELIEVE
and be SAVED!
Still
today, all over the world, people
young and older are BELIEVING in
the LORD JESUS and are being
SAVED.
I
wonder whether you can say truly
tonight, "Yes, I BELIEVE in the
LORD JESUS. Yes, I am SAVED."
The
Bible says, "Believe in the Lord
Jesus and you will be saved."
Acts 16:31
Then JESUS took His friends to the top of a mountain, and as they watched He rose up into the sky and was gone in a cloud. The disciples were staring up into the sky where JESUS had gone, when suddenly two angels, in white, stood beside them. They said, "Why are you men staring into the sky? This same JESUS, who has gone from you into Heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into Heaven."
Hey guys, the angels were telling that JESUS is coming back, one day, to this world. THIS IS GOOD NEWS- JESUS IS COMING AGAIN!
It is a good thing to remember whenever we have a problem or when we look at all the suffering in the world that God has not forgotten us and JESUS will come soon to sort everything out and bring PEACE!
Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you that You
see
all the trouble in the world and You care
about it all. Thank you that You are coming
back to sort it all out. I can TRUST You to
look after me and those I love. Amen."
